Terms of Service

Last updated: 30 September 2026

1. The agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and [legal entity name], a company registered in [country] under number [company number], with its registered office at [registered address] (“Pipeloom”, “we”, “us”). They cover the Pipeloom service at app.getpipeloom.com, its API, and the websites at getpipeloom.com.

By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms, the Acceptable Use Policy and the Privacy Policy. If you accept them for a company or other organization, you confirm you are authorized to bind it, and “you” means that organization.

Pipeloom is a business service. You must be at least 18 and use it for business or professional purposes. If you have a signed order form with us (for example on the Business plan), it takes priority over these terms where the two conflict.

2. Accounts and organizations

Each account belongs to an organization, which holds workspaces, pipelines, connections and billing. Organization administrators decide who is a member and what they can do, and you are responsible for everything done by members of your organization and with its API credentials.

Keep sign-in details secure and tell us promptly at security@getpipeloom.com if you believe an account or credential has been compromised. Give us accurate account and billing information and keep it up to date.

3. The service

Pipeloom lets you build and run data pipelines: connectors that read from sources and write to destinations, transforms and orchestration on a shared canvas, and an AI copilot that helps author them. We run the service on our infrastructure and may change, add or retire features. If we remove a feature that is material to a paid plan, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and you may cancel with a pro-rata refund of fees prepaid for the period after the change.

Connectors talk to third-party systems we don't control. A connector can stop working when the other system changes its API, limits or terms, and we may update or withdraw connectors for that reason. Your use of each third-party system remains subject to your own agreement with its provider.

Features we label as preview or beta are provided as they are, may change without notice, and are excluded from any service commitment.

4. Your data and credentials

“Customer Data” means the data your pipelines read, move and write, the pipelines and configuration you create, and the credentials you give us to reach your systems. You keep all rights in Customer Data. You give us a limited licence to host, copy, transmit and process it only as needed to provide, secure and support the service for you, and as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to connect each source and destination, for the lawfulness of the data you move, and for choosing credentials with no more access than a pipeline needs. Where Customer Data includes personal data, we process it on your behalf as your processor; our data processing addendum is available on request at privacy@getpipeloom.com.

We don't sell Customer Data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.

5. AI copilot

When you use the copilot, your messages and the pipeline context it needs (such as the pipeline being edited, connector names, and stream and field names) are sent to an AI model provider listed on our sub-processors page. Stored connector credentials are never sent. If you type a credential into the chat so the copilot can set up a connector, it is sent to the provider as part of that message and removed from the conversation we store. Under the providers' commercial terms, this content is not used to train their models.

AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review what the copilot proposes before you run or publish it; you are responsible for the pipelines you choose to run.

6. Plans and credits

Work that Pipeloom runs for you is measured in credits: one credit is one vCPU-minute of compute, and each copilot action uses a set number of credits shown on the pricing page. Each plan includes a monthly credit allowance:

PlanPriceIncluded creditsBeyond the allowance
Free$01,500 per monthRuns pause until the next month
Starter$19 per month, or $190 per year. Up to 3 seats12,000 per monthOverage up to your spend cap
Team$39 per seat per month, or $384 per seat per year. Minimum 2 seats20,000 per seat per monthOverage up to your spend cap
BusinessBy agreementBy agreementBy agreement

The allowance resets every month, including on annual plans, and unused credits do not carry over. On Starter and Team, usage beyond the allowance is charged at $0.001 per credit up to a monthly spend cap. The cap defaults to twice your allowance and you can change it in the app; when usage reaches it, scheduled and manual runs pause until the next month or until you raise the cap. We will not charge overage beyond the cap in force at the time.

The pricing page shows current prices and plan features; the price you pay is the one shown at checkout.

7. Billing and payment

Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscription fees are charged in advance, monthly or yearly depending on the interval you choose, and renew automatically for the same interval until cancelled. Overage is charged in arrears: monthly on monthly plans, and at renewal on annual plans. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, which we add where the law requires.

When you move between Starter and Team, the change applies immediately and Stripe prorates it: you are charged the difference for the rest of the current period, or the unused part is credited to your next invoice. Adding Team seats is prorated the same way.

If a payment fails, your plan keeps running while Stripe retries the card, and we will ask you to update your payment method. If payment still can't be collected, we may move your organization to Free.

We may change prices by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. A new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period, and you can cancel before then.

8. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Settings → Plan & billing → Manage billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; until then your plan and allowance stay in place, and afterwards your organization moves to Free. Fees already paid are not refunded, except where these terms say otherwise or the law requires it.

Business plans are cancelled as set out in the order form.

9. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: don't break the law, move data you have no right to, attack or overload other systems, or try to get around limits, billing or security in the service.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend all or part of your use of the service if you seriously or repeatedly breach these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if an amount is overdue after the retries above, or if your use creates a security risk or could harm the service or others. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem, and we will lift the suspension once it is fixed.

You can stop using the service at any time; to close your account, cancel any paid plan and email support@getpipeloom.com. We may end these terms for convenience with 30 days' notice, in which case we refund fees prepaid for the period after the end date.

After your account closes, we delete Customer Data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something longer (for example invoices). Export anything you need before closing.

11. Security and confidentiality

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect Customer Data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and storing Customer Data on servers in the European Union. We keep your non-public information confidential and use it only to provide the service. Please report vulnerabilities to security@getpipeloom.com.

12. Our intellectual property

We and our licensors own the service, its software and its content. These terms give you a right to use the service while they are in force, not ownership of it. Parts of the service include open-source software, which is licensed under its own terms.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

13. Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided “as is”, and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that every connector will work with every version of a third-party system, or that AI output will be accurate. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data, arising out of these terms. Each party's total liability under these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in those 12 months, or $100 if that is more.

These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or to your obligation to pay fees.

15. Your responsibility for claims

If a third party makes a claim against us because of Customer Data you processed through the service without the right to do so, or because of your breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, you will cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim, provided we tell you about it promptly and let you control its defence.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that materially affect you, we will email organization administrators at least 30 days before they take effect. If you don't agree, you can cancel before then; continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the new terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.

17. Governing law and general terms

These terms are governed by the laws of [governing law], and the courts of [courts] have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer or local rights that apply to you.

Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You may not transfer these terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor to our business, with notice to you. If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These terms, the policies they refer to and any order form are the whole agreement between us about the service.
