Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone using Pipeloom, and to everything run through it, including custom connectors and transforms.
Data you don't have the right to move
- Connecting to a system, or reading data from it, without permission from whoever controls it.
- Moving personal data in breach of data protection law, such as without a lawful basis or to a place the law doesn't allow.
- Using credentials that belong to someone else without their authorization.
- Collecting data from websites or services in breach of their terms, or scraping at a scale or rate that harms them.
Harmful or illegal activity
- Anything illegal, or that helps someone else break the law.
- Storing or moving malware, or content that exploits children or infringes others' rights.
- Sending spam or unsolicited messages through a destination connector.
- Using Pipeloom to attack, probe or overload another system, including denial-of-service traffic.
Misusing the service
- Testing, scanning or probing Pipeloom's security without our written permission. We welcome reports at security@getpipeloom.com.
- Getting around usage limits, the spend cap or billing, for example by creating extra organizations to collect more Free allowances.
- Accessing another organization's data, or trying to.
- Running workloads unrelated to data pipelines, such as cryptocurrency mining, in custom connectors or transforms.
- Reselling or sublicensing Pipeloom without an agreement with us.
- Placing load on the service that degrades it for others, after we have asked you to stop.
The AI copilot
- Trying to make the copilot reveal other customers' data or our systems' internals.
- Using it to produce content that breaks this policy or the AI model provider's usage policies.
What happens if the policy is broken
We may remove content, pause pipelines or suspend accounts that break this policy, as described in the Terms of Service. Where we reasonably can, we will contact you first. To report abuse, email security@getpipeloom.com.
